  1. Will the Turtle/Giraffe Neck Stem fit my bike?

    • The Turtle Neck Stem and Giraffe Neck Stem fit on all 1 1/8th inch (28.6mm) threadless steerer tubes. They also can be used on bikes with a quill stem adapter.

  2. Do I need a quill stem adapter?

    • Yes, if your stock stem has a quill nut at the bottom.

    • Ebikes that also require a quill stem adapter: Lectric XP 1.0/2.0 (Lectric XP 3.0, L XP ite, XPremium, XPedition and Trike do not need a quill stem adapter), Engwe, Crooked Path, Vitilan, G Force. Send an inquiry if your ebike is not listed.

  3. How long are the stems?

    • The Turtle Neck Stem is 120mm long (~4.5in) fixed height.

    • The Giraffe Neck Stem is 160mm long, and extends to 220mm (~6.5in - 8.5in).

  4. Which handlebars and bike stems fit on the Turtle/Giraffe Neck stem?

    • Any 1 1/8th inch (28.6mm) bike stem will fit the Turtle Neck Stem or the Giraffe Neck Stem.

  5. Is it safe to do stunts on my bike while the stem is installed?

    • The Turtle/Giraffe Neck Stems are just as safe as the stock long stems that come on folding e-bikes. Although stunts and other extreme maneuvers are not recommended, riders will notice better handling and overall ride quality.
